East Jersey Old Town Village is a collection of historic structures that were relocated to Johnson Park in Piscataway. The village is comprised of fifteen reconstructed and replica 18th and 19th century structures that represent architecture typical of farm and merchant communities once found in the Raritan Valley.
Buildings include, the Indian Queen Tavern, the Farley Blacksmith Shop, the Williamson Wheelwright Shop, the Smalleytown Schoolhouse, the Church of the Three Mile Run, the homes of early settlers and out buildings.
Visitors today can explore the site and meet the historical interpreters that bring the Village to life through their historic trades and crafts. A gateway site for the Crossroads of the American Revolution, National Heritage Area, situated along the Washington-Rochambeau National Historic Trail, the Village offers awarding winning exhibits, living history, and seasonal programs.

Eric returns to ReThink’s endlessly unique stage & will try to hide his nervousness. He’s played Hamlet, drums & Texas Hold’em (and Tybalt in ReThink’s Romeo & Juliet). When he’s not pretending to direct movies, he directs movies. This cast is truly one-of-a-kind & Eric wouldn’t have the courage to play this part without them alongside him. Here’s to one more take. Action!

Clare is so excited to be making her Rethink debut in Sleepy Hollow! Clare is a graduate of Emerson College where she studied Acting with a focus on Comedy Writing and Performance. Her theatre credits include multiple Emerson Stage shows, and she was a regular on the Emerson Channel. Clare also recently finished her first round of improv classes with Upright Citizens Brigade. Clare would like to thank this wonderful cast and crew, her family and friends for all the support, and Keith for everything and then some!

Julia is elated to be joining ReThink Theatrical for her second show as an adult human! She recently completed her Master’s degree in social work and works as an addictions counselor. Julia would like to thank her cast and crew for making her feel comfortable being incredibly uncomfortable for two months. Enjoy this one of a kind telling of a classic ghost story and if you see any ghouls, let Tyler know.

Rachel Appleton is performing for the second time with ReThink Theatrical. Previously, you might have seen Rachel doing fairy things in Midsummer Nights Dream at the Rutgers Gardens, or roaming forests as Isle in Spring Awakening with Rockstar Studios in Dunellen. Rachel is honored to be able to create art with such a talented group of artists. A huge thank you to Middlesex County for maintaining East Jersey Old Town Village, a wonderful historical artifact.

William is a film, theater, and commercial actor. Sleepy Hollow is his second show with ReThink Theatrical, and he is thrilled to be working with this cast and crew! Theater credits include Recent Tragic Events (Ron), Night of the Neutron Dance (Corvus) and the title role in ReThink’s Macbeth. He is the co-founder of the comedy team, Perfectly Adequate Films.

Kyle is excited to being making his debut with ReThink Theatrical in the production of Sleepy Hollow. Kyle is a High School Math Teacher who recently completed his Masters at the Rutgers Graduate School of Education. He is extremely grateful for his fellow castmates who have supported him throughout the process of crafting this story; in particular he is happy that his castmates were able to help him overcome his nerves after a long hiatus from staged productions.

Jillian is an actor/singer who is stoked to be in her third ReThink show! Most recently, she was Chiffon in ReThink's Little Shop of Horrors. Jillian graduated from Rutgers University with degrees in Theatre and Psychology. When she's not performing, she is working in Academic Affairs at her alma mater! A few recent credits include Carrie White (Carrie: The Musical - YADG) and Tracy Turnblad (Hairspray - Villagers Theatre). Much love to all involved with Sleepy Hollow. Patrick is an electrician by trade, actor by chance. This is his second show, not just with ReThink, but in general, and his first as an actor. Despite his lack of experience he has grown to really enjoy the theatrical process, and all the camaraderie it brings. He would like to thank his cats, Chubs and Batman, his friends, family, Joe for talking him into it yet again, and all the red pandas of the world. MELISSAGABILANES
Director
Melissa is a theatre educator and director based in New Jersey. She is an alumna of Rutgers University and Douglass Residential College, with a double major in Theater Arts and Women’s and Gender Studies, a minor in History, and a certificate in Women’s Leadership for Social Change. Somehow uniting all of these passions into one goal, she went on to get her MA in Educational Theatre from New York University Steinhardt, where she became interested in dramaturgical research, applied theatre, and ethnodramas, specifically verbatim interview theatre. The highlight of her MA program was a study abroad program in Dublin, Ireland that explored community-engaged theatre and devising original work. She has worked with kids ages 6-18, as well as kids at heart 18+, all doing what she loves most. Currently, she is a middle school drama teacher.

NATASHASYDOR
Producer
Natasha is a theater & film creative with a passion for storytelling. She received her training from The Shakespeare Theater of NJ and Rutgers University. Previous acting credits include Into the Woods (Cinderella/Rapunzel), Midsummer Night’s Dream (Hermia), Pericles Prince of Tyre (Dionyza) and Title of Show (Heidi). By day she is a creative marketer in media & tech. Beyond production, Natasha is an avid world-traveler, triathlete, quidditch player, and dog mom. This is her first produciton with ReThink Theatrical. She lives in Brooklyn, NY.

SAMKELLY
Stage Manager
Sam Kelly is a theatre lover who graduated from RU with her Bachelors and Masters in Human Resources! When she's not utilizing her knowledge as an HR Manager, she is basically always at a rehearsal of some kind, most recently as the Stage Manager of ReThink Theatrical's production of Sleepy Hollow! She's so excited to share this devised piece with the world!

JOSHROSENZWEIG
Assistant Director
Josh is currently in his second year of undergrad at Rutgers University. He is currently studying Journalism and Media Studies (and possibly HR) with a minor in Theater Arts! This is Josh's first time working behind the scenes as an assistant director. He has performed in several shows throughout Central and South Jersey, including ReThink's most recent production of Romeo and Juliet (Sampson/Apothecary)! Some past credits also include Young Frankenstein (Igor) and How to Succeed (Biggley), and he will be performing in Cabaret Theatre's production of Almost, Maine as Jimmy/Randy in November!

JORDANADEUTSCH
Production Designer
Jordana Deutsch is the Production Designer for Sleepy Hollow. She recently graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in Industrial Design. She has a passion for design and theater. Jordana was the technical director for her college's theater group and loved every minute of it. This is her first time working with Rethink Theatrical, and she can't wait to put on a great show!
